Adaptive Wiffleball
What is Adaptive Wiffleball?
We can’t wait for summer to play baseball so we play wiffleball instead. Wiffleball is baseball but played inside. We use special “wiffleballs” which can’t be hit as far. They balls can be caught with your hands. No gloves needed. The ball moves a little slower than a baseball so you can get some great hits. Some players like to use a batting tee to hit.
Same rules as baseball
The rules for wiffleball are the same as for baseball. We can modify the game to meet your challenge so you can enjoy the game. We will work on our hitting, catching and throwing skills each week. Our coaches and volunteers will be able to work with you to make sure each week you see improvement. Each week you will have fun with your friends playing the game. You will learn the rules and teamwork. Don’t worry if you can’t remember all the rules. We are there to help you during the game.
