TIME: Neurological Conditions and Mobility Challenges
What is TIME: Together in Movement and Exercise?
At STAR we have partnered and completed training to offer TIME: Together In Movement and Exercise. This program is through Toronto, Canada- and we are the first US facility to run their program. This program is meant for individuals with mobility challenges and specifically Neurological Conditions.
Check out what TIME is below:
“Together In Movement and Exercise (TIME™) is a group-exercise program, designed for people with mobility challenges. Our participants may use a cane or walker to get around and often find it difficult to walk longer distances in the community.
Participants benefit from the small group format and the expertise of specially trained TIME™ fitness instructors, who guide them through functional movement practice. Hand supports are used in every class so that participants can feel confident to exercise in standing.” (UHN.CA Toronto Rehab)
