High School/Adult Adaptive Soccer

This program will be focused on fundamental sport skills and gross motor development. Participants in Fit Kids may have difficulty with motor coordination, learning disabilities, and/or mild cognitive impairment. Youth may participate in both Fit Kids 1 and Fit Kids 2.
Adaptive and Para Music will follow curriculum from Drums Alive and will include rhythm work, boomwhackers, and cardio drumming. No music experience is necessary.
New this fall and winter- STAR will begin offering an adaptive and para strength and conditioning class. Whether you are looking to stay in shape for your favorite sport or you are interested in learning how to live a healthy and active lifestyle; this class is for you!
The high school/adult adaptive recreation program will be playing floor hockey this winter. New and experienced athletes are welcome.
New this winter- STAR will begin offering Boccia, inclusive and adaptive bocce ball. Boccia was developed for wheelchair users and is a competitive Paralympic sport. This program is open to participants of all ages and abilities.
New this fall/winter- STAR will begin offering an adaptive and para music class. This program will follow the Drums Alive curriculum and be taught by a certified instructor. Elements of this class include drumming, boomwhackers, rhythm work, and vocalization.
