The STAR Center will be having their first tennis tournaments in the summer of 2022, made possible through a grant from USTA. This is a novice tennis tournament- no experience is necessary. A perfect introduction to competitive tennis in a relaxed and fun format. This tournament is specifically designed for those who have never played competitive tennis. This event is open to athletes with any physical impairment that may inhibit them from playing the traditional game of tennis; you do not need to be a community wheelchair user to compete at this tournament. All participants will receive a t-shirt and lunch.
The STAR Center provides all equipment necessary for each program.
The STAR Association follows CDC, State and County Health Department recommendations for COVID Mitigation. We recommend that all who are eligible to get a vaccine to do so. Masks, social distancing and proper hand washing will be required at all STAR programs.
