Anyone who is interested in becoming a coach and/or expanding their knowledge on the sport of wheelchair football. Professionals who attend this training may include adaptive physical education teachers, therapeutic recreation professionals, individuals working at Move United affiliate locations, VA employees, etc.

The STAR Center will be hosting one of three Move United Wheelchair Football Clinics in the country. Come and learn from national leaders in the sport of wheelchair football. Individuals who attend will learn about the sport of wheelchair football and will be provided with an overview of the USA Wheelchair Football League Athlete Development Model. Trainees will practice what they learned through hands-on drills and supervised student instruction time. No direct experience is necessary, but some knowledge about the game of football will be helpful. Lunch will be provided, both days.
The STAR Association follows CDC, State and County Health Department recommendations for COVID Mitigation. We recommend that all who are eligible to get a vaccine to do so. Masks, social distancing and proper hand washing will be required at all STAR programs.
