Join us for the 2nd Annual Parkinson’s Walk and Awareness Event on Saturday, May 4th from 10:00-2:00 pm at the Myrick Park Shelter- sponsored by Overhead Door of the 7 Rivers Region.
The STAR Center and The City of La Crosse Parks and Recreation will be putting on this event to raise awareness for Parkinson’s Disease in our community. Donations will support local Parkinson’s exercise, education, and support programs in the community. Donations will also go toward the Michael J. Fox Foundation and Future Research.
Registration can be done
online or day of. The walk is free but donations are encouraged. There is also an optional $15 t-shirt fee.

Event Timeline
10:00 am: In Person Registration and T-shirt Pick Up Opens
11:00 am: Opening Ceremony
11:15 am: Walk Begins (1 mile loop)
12:00-2:00 pm: Resource Booths, Live Music with Joe Cody, Food Trucks- Apothik and Betty’s Tacos, Children Activities, STAR Center Exercise Demonstration
