DESCRIPTION:What is Brain & Body Fitness?\nBrain & Body Fitness is designed specifically for people living with mild cognitive impairment (MCI) or early-stage dementias to maintain current functioning and increase socialization. Brain & Body occurs in a small group setting completing exercises that focus on brain and body health to improve physical fitness and mood. An early intervention for dementia diagnosis\, this class is a non-threatening way to remain active in the community. Brain & Body Fitness has been shown to improve physical fitness and mood in people living with dementia. The exercise program is safe\, effective and a fun\, social program taught by trained facilitators. \nWho can participate in Brain & Body Fitness?\nAny adult with a diagnosis of mild cognitive impairment (MCI) or early-stage dementia. DESCRIPTION:What is Brain & Body Fitness?\nBrain & Body Fitness is designed specifically for people living with mild cognitive impairment (MCI) or early-stage dementias to maintain current functioning and increase socialization. Brain & Body occurs in a small group setting completing exercises that focus on brain and body health to improve physical fitness and mood. An early intervention for dementia diagnosis\, this class is a non-threatening way to remain active in the community. Brain & Body Fitness has been shown to improve physical fitness and mood in people living with dementia. The exercise program is safe\, effective and a fun\, social program taught by trained facilitators. \nWho can participate in Brain & Body Fitness?\nAny adult with a diagnosis of mild cognitive impairment (MCI) or early-stage dementia. DESCRIPTION:What is Brain & Body Fitness?\nBrain & Body Fitness is designed specifically for people living with mild cognitive impairment (MCI) or early-stage dementias to maintain current functioning and increase socialization. Brain & Body occurs in a small group setting completing exercises that focus on brain and body health to improve physical fitness and mood. An early intervention for dementia diagnosis\, this class is a non-threatening way to remain active in the community. Brain & Body Fitness has been shown to improve physical fitness and mood in people living with dementia. The exercise program is safe\, effective and a fun\, social program taught by trained facilitators. \nWho can participate in Brain & Body Fitness?\nAny adult with a diagnosis of mild cognitive impairment (MCI) or early-stage dementia.
