DESCRIPTION:Who can participate:\nThis program uses drums and “boom whackers” to give you a great fun aerobic workout while not requiring standing.  It is open to all ages and challenges.  Modifications will be made for individuals as necessary. Individuals with Parkinson’s Disease looking to improve their tone\, rigidity\, and overall function will find this program beneficial. Individuals do not need music experience to participate in this program. \nScholarships are available. No one will be denied participation due to financial concerns. \nVeterans with a disability are able to participate in STAR programs for free. \nWhat to bring:\n\nWater bottle\nSweat towel\nComfortable clothing\nShoes suitable for activity\nCare partners are welcome to attend and participate with you\, at no extra cost\n\nThe STAR Center provides all equipment necessary for each program. \nSocial and refreshment time\nSocial and refreshment time will follow each of our sessions.
