DESCRIPTION:Who can participate:\nAnyone\, youth and adult\, who has a mobility or cognitive challenge that makes participation in traditional programming difficult. This program is co-ed. \n\nSpina bifida\nSpinal cord injury\nCerebral palsy\nCongenital limb issues\nAmputations\nLeg length discrepancy\nShort stature\nMuscular dystrophy\nParkinson’s disease\nMultiple sclerosis\nMotor dyspraxia\nLimited range of motion\nBalance issues\nPost stroke\nBlind and visual impairment\nDown syndrome\nAutism spectrum\nLearning disabilities\nCognitive impairments\nLow muscle tone\nOther congenital syndromes\n\nIndividuals may ambulate independently\, or use assistive devices\, or wheelchairs. \nFinancial assistance is available. No one will be denied participation due to financial concerns. \nWhat to bring:\n\nWater bottle\nComfortable clothing\nSun protection\nSunscreen and bug spray\nRace chair and/or throwing chair (if you have one)\nFrame runner (if you have one)\nBike helmet (if you have one)\nParent or care partner is welcome to attend.\n\nThe STAR Center provides all equipment necessary for each program. \nQuestions? info@starcenterlacrosse.org or 608-797-6295 \nIn case of inclement weather\, the STAR Association reserves the right to cancel a session.
