DESCRIPTION:Who can participate in wheelchair lacrosse?\nAnyone\, youth and adult\, who has a mobility challenge. This program is co-ed. \n\nSpina bifida\nSpinal cord injury\nCerebral palsy\nCongenital limb issues\nAmputations\nLeg length discrepancy\nShort stature\nMuscular dystrophy\nParkinson’s disease\nMultiple sclerosis\nMotor dyspraxia\nLimited range of motion\nBalance issues\nPost stroke\nBlind and visual impairment\n\nEligibility and Criteria: \n\nYouth and Adult\nCo-ed\nDesigned for individuals with physical disabilities or mobility impairments\nParticipants must be able to follow directions from the lead facilitator.\n\nIf participants need assistance with following directions\, a support staff must attend and assist the individual at the program.\nIf you need assistance finding support\, please contact STAR. We may have 1:1 mentors available.\n\n\nParticipants will be held to the STAR Center Code of Conduct\n\n1-1 mentors\nPlease contact the STAR Center if you will need a 1-1 mentor. We will do our best to find you a mentor\, but we can not guarantee at this time.
