DESCRIPTION:Who can participate:\nAnyone\, youth and adult\, who has a mobility or cognitive challenge that makes participation in traditional programming difficult. This program is co-ed. Adaptations and modifications will be available for those who need it. \n\nSpina bifida\nSpinal cord injury\nCerebral palsy\nCongenital limb issues\nAmputations\nLeg length discrepancy\nShort stature\nMuscular dystrophy\nParkinson’s disease\nMultiple sclerosis\nMotor dyspraxia\nLimited range of motion\nBalance issues\nPost stroke\nBlind and visual impairment\nDown syndrome\nAutism spectrum\nLearning disabilities\nCognitive impairments\nLow muscle tone\nOther congenital syndromes\n\nIndividuals may ambulate independently\, or use assistive devices\, or wheelchairs. \nNo one will be denied participation due to financial concerns. \n1-1 mentors\nPlease contact the STAR Center if you will need a 1-1 mentor. We will do our best to find you a mentor\, but we can not guarantee at this time.
