DESCRIPTION:Who can participate:\nThis program is for individuals age 60+ who currently exercise less than 60 minutes per week and have fallen less than twice within the past year. Individuals in this program do not use walkers indoors and are without a diagnosed cognitive disorder.  This program is co-ed \nScholarships are available. No one will be denied participation due to financial concerns. \nVeterans with a disability are able to participate in STAR programs for free. \nWhat to bring:\n\nWater bottle\nComfortable clothing\nParticipant manual (given out at the first class)\nParent or care partner is welcome to attend.\n\nThe STAR Center provides all equipment necessary for each program. \nCOVID-19 disclaimer\nThe STAR Association follows CDC\, State and County Health Department recommendations for COVID Mitigation. We recommend that all who are eligible to get a vaccine to do so.
