Individuals may ambulate independently\, or use assistive devices\, or wheelchairs. \nScholarships are available. Anyone who has a mobility or cognitive challenge that makes participation in traditional programming difficult. This program is co-ed. \n\nMotor dyspraxia\nSensory integration challenges\nBalance challenges\nMotor programming challenges\nDown Syndrome\nAutism Spectrum\nLearning disabilities\nCognitive impairments\nLow muscle tone\nOther congenital syndromes\n\nIndividuals with physical disabilities can also participate if desired. Individuals may ambulate independently\, or use assistive devices\, or wheelchairs. \nScholarships are available. No one will be denied participation due to financial concerns. \nVeterans with a disability are able to participate in STAR programs for free. \nWhat to bring:\n\nWater bottle\nDress to move\nComfortable shoes for movement\nParents\, respite care providers\, and care partners are welcome to attend.\n\n1-1 mentors\nPlease contact the STAR Center if you will need a 1-1 mentor.
