This program is co-ed. \n\nSpina bifida\nSpinal cord injury\nCerebral palsy\nCongenital limb issues\nAmputations\nLeg length discrepancy\nShort stature\nMuscular dystrophy\nParkinson’s disease\nMultiple sclerosis\nMotor dyspraxia\nLimited range of motion\nBalance issues\nPost stroke\nBlind or visual impairment\n\nIndividuals may ambulate independently or use assistive devices or wheelchairs. \nScholarships are available. No one will be denied participation due to financial concerns. \nVeterans with a disability are able to participate in STAR programs for free. \nWhat to bring\n\nWater bottle\nRace wheelchair (if owned)\nBike helmet (if owned)\nPadded biker shorts (if desired)\nLong sleeve shirts or arm sleeves (if desired)\nParents welcome to attend\n\nThe STAR Center provides all equipment necessary for each program. \nCOVID-19 disclaimer\nThe STAR Association follows CDC\, State and County Health Department recommendations for COVID Mitigation. We recommend that all who are eligible to get a vaccine to do so. Anyone who has a mobility or coordination challenge. \n\nMotor Dyspraxia\nSensory Integration Issues\nBalance Issues\nMotor Programming Challenges\nDown Syndrome\nAutism Spectrum\nLearning Disability\nCognitive Impairment\nLow Muscle Tone\nOther Congenital Syndromes\n\nIndividuals with physical disabilities can also participate if desired. Individuals may ambulate independently\, or use assistive devices\, or wheelchairs. \nScholarships are available. No one will be denied participation due to financial concerns. \nWhat to bring:\n\nWater bottle\nDress to move\nComfortable shoes for movement\nParents and respite care providers are welcome to attend.\n\n1-1 mentors\nPlease contact the STAR Center if you will need a 1-1 mentor. We will do our best to find you a mentor\, but we can not guarantee at this time.
